Pain Des Rois which looks like a crown or a wreath, has a unique and distinctive flavor and is full of festive feeling! The perfectly soft texture can be enjoyed on its own or dipped in whipped cream or ice cream. The actual brandy apple jam not only be used with various breads, but can also be added to tea or poured on top of yogurt or ice cream as an elegant afternoon tea.

Many thanks to Brenda and her team for giving me a wonderfully fulfilling baking session today!
